On October 20, 2014 The Fellowship of California Church Musicians' Conference presented to Dr. Merril Smoak, Dean of Olivet University's Jubilee College of Music, the JOSEPH DANIEL EXCELLENCE IN CHURCH MUSIC AWARD.
